Sivala

System: Sivala
Region: The Citadel
Sovereignty: Caldari State
Security: 0.6
Planets: 11
Moons: 18
Belts(Ice): 8
System: 13/5000

Deaths So Far: 1

I figured I would try and fit in one or two systems tonight before I head off to sleep, so good evening Sivala!

Apparently I have a mining laser on this thing.

It appears Sivala is rather slow this time of night, searching the belts led to no player interactions. The only people I could find were haulers near the gates.

However, Sivala does have yet another very pretty skybox. Absolute kudos to CCP's art department on this one.
Some kind of purdy

Also, before I go, I would like to give a shout-out to Maximum 12 for purchasing the kill right of the vicious brute who suicided a Catalyst Serpentis Edition into me the other day.

If you have read this already, and are considering continuing to read, I will be looking into getting an RSS feed set up at some point. Also, if you have not played EVE:Online but would be interested in it, you can be a total dude and check it out using my referral link here: EVE 30 Day Trial. As a money grubbing whore, I will also mention that if you wish to donate isk to help fund this venture you may do so by donating to Vilhjalmur Stefansson in-game. I will give a shout-out to any character donating over 100 million isk, and any character donating over 100 million ISK will also get to name my ship for a day (nothing which will get me banned will count as a ship name)

Region: The Citadel
Sovereignty: Caldari State
Security: 0.5
Planets: 10
Moons: 32
Belts(Ice): 3
System: 12/1000
Deaths So Far: 1

I realized that one of the planets in Uedama has districts for some reason, so I went to check one out. From space, I have no idea if there is anything going on down there, nor have I ever played DUST, so I don`t know how to find out. However, it looked just like a normal planet.

Nobody home,,,
Warping around a little more, I manage to find one of Highsec`s plethora of abandoned control towers.

But the lights are still on

Barring anything else interesting happening, I think I will also be cutting my stay in Uedama short. Though Local chat was kind enough to inform me that DREDDIT IS RECRUITING.

Just going to do a quick one here, as Ikao is boring AF.

Just one quick selfie, and I`m out of there.

Moons: 53
Belts(Ice): 13(1)

After my rather cool reception in Halaima, I decided to check out neighbouring Kamio. Literally nothing happened here except someone convoìng me from local to ask if I was recruiting. I am in an NPC Corp.

Pretty nebula, though.

Halaima

System: Halaima
Region: The Citadel
Sovereignty: Caldari State
Security: 0.7
Planets: 9
Moons: 40
Belts(Ice): 4(1)

System: 9/5000
Deaths so far: 1

Halaima seems more active than Sarekuwa, with nearly 50 in local during my time here, so I`m going to look around a little. Halaima is also home to the first Ice belt I have encountered on this journey, so I decided to take a look.

Perhaps Input Broadcasting isn`t dead after all...

As I slowly move in for a photograph with the Orca central to the formation, I am viciously attqacked without provocation. Clearly my Velator was a threat to the integrity of the entire mining operation.

Apparently it is too :poor: to use a regular catalyst to shoot NoobShips.

Deaths during this project: 1

Judging by local chat, apparently the locals seemed to think I was a scout for a gank fleet, and got restless. I was not, but not a bad idea for the future. Also, they made no effort to shoot my pod, leading me to only assume that they don`t believe you can fleet warp to a pod. Regardless, they seem quite pleased with themselves, suiciding a faction-skinned Catalyst to kill a rookie ship.

Clearly I am not welcome here, the locals seem to have responded viciously and without provocation to unexpected arrivals.

Sarekuwa

System: Sarekuwa
Region: Lonetrek
Sovereignty: Caldari State
Security: 0.9
Planets: 5
Moons: 28
Belts(Ice): 5
System: 8/5000

I woke up in Sarekuwa on a sleepy Easter Monday. It seemed the system was rather dead, only 13 in Local. However, I did want to check out the Derelict Ruins beacon before I moved on to another system in my route.

Sadly, the ruins turned out to be 3 Guristas pirates, and some generic debris field (On this note, CCPlease do some work on the points-of-interest in space).

Sarekuwa does have, however, a decent view of Caroline's Star, right next to the Sun.
Ultimately, with nobody visibly undocked, there is little reason for me to stay in Sarekuwa, so I bid it farewell for now.

Iidoken

System: Iidoken
Region: Lonetrek
Sovereignty: Caldari State
Security: 0.8
Planets: 10
Moons: 72
Belts(Ice): 7
System: 7/5000

Iidoken, yes, with a double-I at the beginning. Kronoses and Navy Megathrons suggest this system gets some spillover traffic from the Level-4 Agent next door. Spying another beacon in space, I make my way to the Abandoned Battlefield for a look. This time, there appears to be no NPC pirates, perhaps someone has already taken care of them, so I move in for a better look.

Something much larger than my Velator used to be here.

Iidoken seems to lack the vibrant local chat of neighbouring Tsuguwa, perhaps it is just the time of day, but nary a peep has been spoken since I arrived.

Quick fly-by of a station in Iidoken

Without any action to see, I'm going to keep moving.

Looking towards Sarekuwa

Tsuguwa

System: Tsuguwa
Region: Lonetrek
Sovereignty: Caldari State
Security: 0.8
Planets: 6
Moons: 60
Belts(Ice): 14
System: 6/5000

I jumped into Tsuguwa on my way back to my starting point from Akiainavas, and it took be about 9 tries to spell the name right, because the Caldari are awful at naming systems. The first thing I noticed is that Tsuguwa is home to a becon titled "Abandoned Caldari Outpost," which I decided to investigate before moving on.

Fearing Pirates, I warp to 100km from the beacon. This turns out to be wise, as about a half dozen Guristas have chosen to congregate around the structure.

Caldari Outpost in disrepar. the Guristas aren't much for maintenance, apparently.
Judging by the variety of wrecks and larger ships on Dscan, it appears that Tsuguwa has a little bit of missioning activity going on. Wanting to see one of these ships, I decide to wait at the exit of the station with a Level-4 agent. As I wait, I notice that Tsuguwa seems livelier than other systems I have visited so far, with a lively local chat in evidence.
Lying in wait

I only have to wait a few seconds before a Rattlesnake warps to station.
Creepshot

Moments later he re-appears and aligns to begin another mission, I can only assume.
Good luck to him, but it is time for me to move on, once again, as there appears to be little else of interest in this system. Local chat seems to have calmed itself once again.

Airkio

System Name: Airkio
Region: Lonetrek
Sovereignty: Caldari State
Security: 0.9
Planets: 10
Moons: 34
Belts(Ice): 5
System: 5/5000

Alright, 0.1% of the way to my goal. Despite having 11 stations, Airkio only had about 40 people in it when I visited around 3pm today. Popping through the belts, I did find a semi-AFK retriever. After I was sitting next to him for about 5 minutes, he seemed to wake up and started using his strip lasers again. Shortly afterwards, a venture joined him.

Not paying attention...
That's better...

Though it didn't have a huge amount of people, Airkio did at least seem to be fairly active, there appeared to be at least one miner in all of the belts. I guess it's proximity to Akiainavas makes it popular for young miners.
Also not paying attention...I should skill into a Thrasher.

These miners appear completely oblivious to my presence, with nary a question in local as to why I am following them around.
More AFK Miners...

Without much going on besides afk mining, I decided to move on to the next system.
